Valkyria Revolution: Will it be rare?
Author: Nir Regev Publication Date: 02/04/2018
Valkyria Revolution will likely be a rare video game in the coming years as a niche title in a already relatively niche series. Does that meanValkyria Revolution will soar to astronomical heights in the reseller market? Unlikely, even the most expensive Valkyria Chronicles related item on Ebay at the time of this post is selling for $199.95 + shipping [and that's from the VGA Grading mostly].
Regardless of the lukewarm reviews on Metacritic [55 Critic Score, 6.0 User Score], the title will come to be a rare find in a few years from now. After its initial print run sells out at a reduced cost [$11.60 to its original $29.99], there's unlikely to be a second one arriving. Meaning, Valkyria Revolution will potentially be an obscure video game to locate.
Player Advice: If you're interested in dabbling in the easily accessible gameplay, $11.60 is an excellent price. Can it go lower? Probably not, it may also sell out if you care about new sealed copies. Some players of the game have complained of the spinoff being too different in gameplay than the original and of its many cinematics. However, at the $11-$12 dollar range you're getting a beautifully animated Dynasty Warriors-like SEGA title with RPG elements. Not something to think twice about if you wanna try Valkyria Revolution.
Reseller's Advice: If you're looking to rake in the big bucks from a potentially low risk, high reward item look elsewhere. Valkyria Revolution's lukewarm reviews and word of mouth on forums have considerably lowered its overall resale value. Consider also that have the classic Valkyria Chronicles and its remastered edition do not really fetch absurd figures and you're playing the long game at best.
Collector's Advice: Low print run, niche spinoff, means Valkyria has a limited shelf life both online and in retail when it comes to sealed copy form. If you're a collector looking the time to act is now, particularly if you want the Vanargand Edition from Best Buy. You'd be surprised how quickly readily available price reduced items vanish into the pre-owned only stage, it's already sold out at the moment at GameStop and Target.

Warriors All-Stars: Will it be rare?
Author: Nir Regev Publication Date: 01/26/2018
Warriors All-Stars will likely be a rare video game in the coming years as a niche title in a already niche genre. Does that mean Warriors All-Stars will soar to astronomical heights in the reseller market? Unlikely, even the most expensive Dynasty Warriors related item on Ebay at the time of this post is selling for around $467 + shipping from Japan.
However, consider that Warriors All-Stars does not just feature characters from the Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors series. It includes the very popular Kasumi [who also appeared in Warriors Orochi 3] from the Dead or Alive series, William Adams from the recently wildly popular Nioh, Ryu Hayabusa and Ayane from Ninja Gaiden among others.
Crossover titles have natural demand because there's more fans of the characters/intellectual property. Regardless of the lukewarm reviews on Metacritic [70 Critic Score, 7.2 User Score], the title will come to be a rare find in a few years from now. After its initial print run sells out at a reduced cost [$19.99 to its original $39.99], there's unlikely to be a second one arriving. Meaning, Warriors All-Stars will be an obscure video game to locate.
Player Advice: If you're interested in dabbling in the easily accessible gameplay, $19.99 is a very good entry price. Can it go lower? Possibly but it may also sell out if you care about new sealed copies. Not too mention if you just want to play as Kasumi, William, or Ryu in a Dynasty Warriors setting, this is as close to a side-entry franchise as you're going to get.
Reseller's Advice: If you're looking to rake in the big bucks from a potentially low risk, high reward item look elsewhere. Even the older Dynasty Warrior titles don't fetch the type of prices that would make it a worthwhile hold if you're looking to 'short' the tile in the next few 2-3 years. If you're gonna play the long game, sure by all means.
Collector's Advice: Low print run, niche genre, obscure game with crossover characters means Warriors All-Stars will not be around forever in sealed copy form. If you're a collector looking to complete your Dynasty Warriors collection or even Dead or Alive/Ninja Gaiden collection, don't wait too long. You'd be surprised how quickly readily available price reduced items vanish into the pre-owned only stage. Especially important if you're a sealed game collector. The time is now to buy Warriors All-Stars.

Dragon Ball Super has Earth’s five best fighters set for Champa’s tournament. Now it’s time for Bulma to locate the Super Dragon Balls as insurance!
On the last episode of Dragon Ball Super, Goku and Vegeta recruited a reluctant Majin Buu to join them as one of the elite fighters on the 7th Universe team. Though Buu despises Lord Beerus, particularly after trying to get between Buu and his food, he said yes… After Goku promises him a wish from the mythical Super Dragon Balls! Which Buu plans to give to his pal Mr. Satan.
Buu is locked in at #4 along with Goku, Vegeta, and Monaka (a fighter Beerus claims was his toughest adversary). Goku is disappointed to not the be the best Beerus has faced, yet excited at the prospect of meeting a fresh unknown challenger. Piccolo is the final team member, recruited after Gohan turns down his spot for a business meeting at work on the day of the epic tournament.
Goku suggests Vegeta and Piccolo train with him in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber for the remaining 3 days before the tournament (equivalent to 3 years of training).
Piccolo turns down the offer citing ‘already having learned the folly of trying to keep up with a Saiyan’, preferring to ‘spend the time alone getting focused for battle’. At first Vegeta is iffy about the idea, stating they’ll get only marginally better.
Goku quickly sways Vegeta’s mind, saying Beerus said Monaka is better than them but not how much better, and he can just get better alone then. Hearing the words Goku getting better was all it took for Vegeta to put in his three years.
Cable subscribers can catch the last episode on Adult Swim’s Dragon Ball Super website stream.
Playing chess with the Super Dragon Balls
Meanwhile, Bulma is uneasy about Beerus’ potential grand plan with the Super Dragon Balls or even a spontaneous spur of the moment act as the universe’s Destroyer.
The smirk at the end of episode 29 (“Combat Matches Are a Go! The Captain is Someone Stronger Than Goku”) by Beerus when he remarks about wiping out existence puts Bulma on edge. Though Goku thinks Beerus was just joking. Vegeta backs up Goku’s sentiment. Both of them drunk on the idea of a tournament with a whole new galaxy, and the wonders of future training on Beerus’ planet.
Fun Fact: When Bulma calls upon the dragon Shenron originally to locate the Super Dragon Balls, Goku remembers he was supposed to wish someone back to life but can’t remember. That someone was King Kai!
At the same time, Beerus and Whis themselves ponder what his twin brother Champa has to gain with this tournament. What is Champa’s endgame? Beerus subtly questions Whis if he’s training Goku and Vegeta to defeat him, drawing a ‘no, my lord’ but a look to the side from Whis.
Dragon Ball Super S01E31 Trailer (Next Episode)
On the next Dragon Ball Super, Bulma asks for galactic policeman Jaco if he he can take her to the center of the universe. Since the Super Dragon Ball radar can only pick up their presence there if they so exist. Jaco claims a mysterious figure named Master Zuno is the one to see for such an endeavor. Jaco remarks that Zuno knows everything, an all-knowing being.
Vegeta in a rare display of relationship feelings warns Jaco ‘not to try any funny business with his wife’. Needless to say, Jaco won’t be getting sleep anytime soon.
The Funimation English dub will premiere this Saturday on Adult Swim at 8:30pm EST/11:30pm EST (Replay). The previous episode will air at 8pm for those looking to catch up on Dragon Ball Super. In Japan, episode 31 originally aired on February 14, 2016 and now airs for American audiences on August 26, 2017.

PSN Game Deal of the Week:
If you’re looking to give The Elder Scrolls Online series a try without a large investment, Tamriel Unlimited at $12.89 ($9.89 for PlayStation Plus Members) is a solid deal. There’s no active subscription required anymore to partake in the game so you don’t have to worry about hidden costs.
PSN Game Deal Weekly Conclusion:
There’s nothing that necessarily jumps out of you in this week’s sale. MMORPG fans that somehow missed out on trying out on the series are best served in this week’s PSN Game Deals, the rest will probably wait it out.
The Gold Edition bundle and especially the Gold Edition Premium bundle are still a bit too pricy, especially for a digital purchase. Though the complete experience bundles are still fairly recent with a release date of September 9, 2016, Tamriel Unlimited was originally released on June 9, 2015.
The titles are going to be a bit dated by now, so this week’s PSN Game Deals are purely for the hardcore MMORPG crowd.
Tamriel Unlimited for the PlayStation 4 averaged a 74 on Metacritic by official critics and a 7.6 user score.
Check out last week’s PSN Grand Theft Auto Sale to get an idea of what weekly game deals you might be missing out on. Sony occasionally holds a flash sale on PSN which you should always keep an eye out for.
Hopefully another flash sale will arrive on PSN this weekend!
