    Deals Disclaimer and Insight

    * Live Game Deals publishes deals as they are posted live on their corresponding site and as such prices might change hour to hour and occasionally minute to minute, second to second… Or even expire entirely/sell out! No deal is forever. Due to the nature of changes, keep in mind that price accuracy is dependent on the day and time of the post. If a couple of months have passed since a deal post was published, chances are there’s been pricing changes. Most of the time in the Video Game world, that means prices might have dropped further or remained slashed at their prior sale price.

However, occasionally a Video Game Deal could potentially be so good that all of the stock is purchased up and there’s no more. If a retailer deal really peaks your interest, best to not let it linger too long… As it will inevitably leave you at the mercy of third-party resellers. Which most of the time means significant pricing inflation. Thus a game that you might have purchased at $15 or $25 becomes less enticing potentially at $75 or $150.

Franchises based on Anime and popular Japanese brand releases with limited runs will typically sell out first on sale. While stateside sports game will typically fall in price as an annual release becomes available. Ultimate/Complete editions of specific genres like Fighting Games will similarly lead to a logical permanent drop of the standard editions.

Be sure to check out daily Video Game Deals for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, 3DS, Vita, Steam, and much more on the Video Game Deals category page. There’s coverage for both physical and digital releases as well as focus on the coveted Collector’s Editions!

Magnus Game Studios’ cell-shaded JRPG hybrid Re:Legend has officially hit Steam Early access for a special price until September 6.

Re:Legend, a cooperative multiplayer JRPG, promises to combine the world of farming with monster collecting/raising and life-simulation styled activities. That means Harvest Moon style farming, fishing, crafting along with good ole’ combat. Sounds like there’s also inspiration by Tecmo’s classic Monster Rancher series. Re:Legend notably acquired the talents of Final Fantasy XV composer and Video Game Orchestra founder Shota Nakama to do the honors on the soundtrack.

The Magnus Games studio developed game was honored in 2017 with the Southeast Asia “Best Rising Star Award” and in 2018 with the “Best Game Design” award at the Level Up Game conference in Malaysia. The title has arrived on Steam Early Access courtesy of publisher 505 Games for the price of $17.99 (10% off) for the first week until September 6, 2019. It’ll retail for $19.99/€19.99 post-Steam Early Access sale.

Re:Legend, was originally backed on Kickstarter in less than 24-hours and quickly became the most successful crowd-funded game in the history of Southeast Asia. Check out a fresh announcement trailer above!below!

    Re:Legend Game Description

Set in the world of Ethia, players awake as a legendary hero, washed ashore on Vokka Island with no memories. Players must revive their hero and find ways to remember the forgotten past. By learning how to survive – cultivating the land, breeding and catching fish, befriending inhabitants, expanding the village, crafting weaponry and training for combat, among all the available activities – players will increase the chances of taming and raising the Magnus, magical creatures that populate this wondrous world.

With a Magnus on his/her side, the adventurer will be able to venture across the land, facing threatening challenges, finding even more powerful Magnus and eventually regain lost memories. The world of Ethia will expand during the Early Access program with additional biomes made available to players leading toward the official v1.0 game launch.

    Format: PC/Windows

Most of the time in the Video Game world, that means prices might have dropped further or remained slashed at their prior sale price. But in the digital universe, every once in a while a game might get delisted due to licensing issues or any myriad of reasons. Not necessarily with a warning of its impending delisting either. Choose wisely if you really want a game!

    Regular Price: $59.99

    Mario Tennis Aces – $39.99

    Regular Price: $59.99

    Super Mario Party – $39.99
    Discount: 50% off
    Regular Price: $59.99

    Deal Rating: 8

The mainline Mario games are seemingly never on sale digitally, so for non-collectors, it’s a big deal. Though $30 would naturally be a more appealing price point, the scarcity of digital Mario game sales outside of the Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle crossover makes this one to consider. If you’re looking to get a title like New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe with endless replay value without having to switch Game Cards, this is the sale.

For Wii U owners prior to the Switch, keep in mind only Super Mario Odyssey, Mario Tennis Aces, and Super Mario Party are built from the ground up for the Switch rather than remastered deluxe iterations. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe however, is the only way you’re going to compete online on the Switch even if you own the Wii U original. Not to mention the definitive edition adding Splatoon’s cast from the ignition. New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe packs both New Super Mario Bros U and New Super Luigi U.
