Magnus Game Studios’ cell-shaded JRPG hybrid Re:Legend has officially hit Steam Early access for a special price until September 6.
Re:Legend, a cooperative multiplayer JRPG, promises to combine the world of farming with monster collecting/raising and life-simulation styled activities. That means Harvest Moon style farming, fishing, crafting along with good ole’ combat. Sounds like there’s also inspiration by Tecmo’s classic Monster Rancher series. Re:Legend notably acquired the talents of Final Fantasy XV composer and Video Game Orchestra founder Shota Nakama to do the honors on the soundtrack.
The Magnus Games studio developed game was honored in 2017 with the Southeast Asia “Best Rising Star Award” and in 2018 with the “Best Game Design” award at the Level Up Game conference in Malaysia. The title has arrived on Steam Early Access courtesy of publisher 505 Games for the price of $17.99 (10% off) for the first week until September 6, 2019. It’ll retail for $19.99/€19.99 post-Steam Early Access sale.
Re:Legend, was originally backed on Kickstarter in less than 24-hours and quickly became the most successful crowd-funded game in the history of Southeast Asia. Check out a fresh announcement trailer above!below!
Re:Legend Game Description
Set in the world of Ethia, players awake as a legendary hero, washed ashore on Vokka Island with no memories. Players must revive their hero and find ways to remember the forgotten past. By learning how to survive – cultivating the land, breeding and catching fish, befriending inhabitants, expanding the village, crafting weaponry and training for combat, among all the available activities – players will increase the chances of taming and raising the Magnus, magical creatures that populate this wondrous world.
With a Magnus on his/her side, the adventurer will be able to venture across the land, facing threatening challenges, finding even more powerful Magnus and eventually regain lost memories. The world of Ethia will expand during the Early Access program with additional biomes made available to players leading toward the official v1.0 game launch.
Format: PC/Windows
